About Pops 'N Bangs
Our History
Pops 'N Bangs Firework Company has been making special events go with a bang for over 20 years. Bob Pilkington - the founder - first got involved with Firework Displays as a Scout Leader, helping with the town's annual display in November. He discovered he enjoyed the planning and executing of the Displays and so Pops 'N Bangs was born,
Bob trained with Kimbolton Fireworks, under the Reverend and became a recognised trainer himself.
Bob soon got his son, Chris involved as a Firer and over the years they have carried out many different types of events - from Weddings (including his own Son's!) to Annual November the 5th displays and New Year's Eve celebrations.
Recently, Chris has taken over more and more of the business and is now the main firer. The company remains a family business, Bob's grandson - Zach - has also joined the company and is looking to become an official firer in the near future!
Weddings
Family is a big part of what makes Pops 'N Bangs so special. We source our Fireworks from well established Companies, in order to ensure your event leaves a lasting impression - on both you & your guests. Our set Displays are designed for all budgets - whether you want to finish your special day with a bang, surprise your guests with an extravaganza, or somewhere in between, we've got something for you!
Quiet or Low Noise Displays
As much as we love a big bang (or several!), we have come to realise there is a growing desire - from Venues, as well as the public - for quieter displays with all the "Wow" but less of the "Bang".
Our Silencio display caters for exactly that, starting from £1000 for 4 minutes of colour & sparkle.

At Pops 'N Bangs, our Firers are trained to deliver anything from a small cake to the larger category shells.

It's time to celebrate!!
New Year's Eve is all about partying and Bangs. With our spectacular displays we can ensure you end the old & start the New Year in Style!

Wanting to upgrade your Gender Reveal to Family & Friends? We can provide Pink or Blue single shots or an array of smoke cannons in a mini display.
We can also do this during the day, with specialist daytime fireworks - perfect for a once in a lifetime photo opportunity or those who don't want a late night!

Due to the nature of our Business, we are often available out of hours, so feel free to message anytime, but don't worry if we message you back at odd times - we don't expect you to read or reply until more "normal" hours!
